The Galo Plaza Lasso Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 1995. Its mission is to promote, manage, develop and execute education, conservation and socio-economic development programs that improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Zuleta and surrounding communities.

The foundation’s institutional programs are as follows: Conservation, Education and Community Development; they are financed by funding actions, related to the contributions of our guests who visit Hacienda Zuleta, and by tourist agencies that appreciate our high quality. We recognize these contributions, without which we would not be able to continue the search for a better life’s condition for these communities that we feel part of.
